What are the age and license requirements to rent a camper van in Ibiza?

It is required to be at least 25 years old and have 2 years of driving experience.

Is it necessary to have previous experience driving a camper van to rent?

It is not necessary to have previous experience driving a camper van, but it is helpful to have basic driving and mechanical skills. Our vehicles are classic and they work like a normal car with their appropriate dimensions, they are easy to drive and park. The Van Voyage team will send you pdfs and explanatory videos about how the van interior works. So if it is your first time in a camper van you will have it very easy!

How many people can be in the van?

Our vans have 2-3 seats with belts (depending on the vehicle). But the van is ideal for 2 people: couple, friends, family...

Are bed linen and towels provided, or should I bring my own?

The van is delivered equipped with all the basic amenities for sleeping, cooking, cleaning and camping items such as folding tables and chairs. You only have to worry about bringing your best outfits! :)

Is it allowed to travel with the van outside of Ibiza?

It is not allowed to travel with the van outside the island. This must be consulted in advance with the owners.

What type of driver's license do I need?

Our camper models require a standard driver's car license to rent and drive the camper van in Ibiza.

How are logistical aspects, such as water and fuel, handled?

Our campers have a clean water tank connected to the shower and kitchen. The vans will be delivered with a full water tank and you can refill the water at gas stations if necessary. In the Park4Night application you will also see places that offer water services.

As for fuel, the vans are delivered with a full fuel tank. At the time of finalizing the reservation, the vans must be returned with a full tank. Otherwise, a deduction from the deposit will be applied.

What do I do with the dirty water tank?

In Ibiza there are hardly any areas to remove dirty water, so we will take care of removing and cleaning it at the end of your reservation. It is important that you do not throw dirty water into nature to better preserve natural spaces. Thank you.

Are there designated parking and camping areas?

Our camper vans are like normal vehicles, so they can park in the same areas where cars are allowed to park. There are many public parking lots near the coast, mountains or in towns where you can park for free. Except in protected areas and areas marked with the prohibition of overnight stays. And if you are going to sleep in it, it is important that you are inside the vehicle and do not exceed the limits of the vehicle (do not put chairs, tables, personal objects...). We recommend downloading the free version of Park4Night to see the areas where campers usually park.

On the other hand, there are campsites that offer areas to park campers. You will have to consult and reserve with them.

Are there plugs to charge the computer?

Yes, our vehicles come with plugs and USB inputs so you can charge your electronic devices.

Can I leave the van at a different location than the pick-up location at the end of the rental? Are there additional charges for this?

Many clients often continue their trip in a hotel or apartment after their camper adventure. You must ask the owners if they have availability to check in/check out in your preferred area. The charge for this check in/check out service outside our collection point is 50 euros, which will be deducted directly from the deposit.

What type of insurance is included in the rental? Does it cover damage, theft or civil liability?

Our camper vans include basic third party and civil liability insurance. Any other damage to the vehicle will be the responsibility of the client.

Are there mileage restrictions or is unlimited mileage included in the rental?

There is a limit to travel of 100km/day of your reservation. That is, if you have booked 4 nights, you have 400 km included in your reservation. The island is very small so it is more than enough :)

Is a tutorial or detailed instructions on how to use all of the van's features offered before starting the trip?

Yes of course! Before your arrival we will send you pdfs and videos of the general operation of the vans.
