GOOD PRACTICES FOR CAMPER VANS IN IBIZA

Camper vans offer a unique and exciting way to explore Ibiza, but it is important to use them responsibly to preserve the natural environment and minimize the impact on the island. Here are some good practices to follow:

1. Plan Ahead

Before leaving on your trip, research local regulations, permitted camping areas and places of interest in Ibiza. Planning your route in advance will help you minimize the impact on sensitive or crowded locations and enjoy a smoother experience.

2. Choose Designated Camping Areas or public parking areas

In Ibiza, there are several designated camping areas, some of which are specifically intended for camper vans, caravans, campsites, etc.

Here are some camping areas in Ibiza:

  • Es Canar Camping Area: Located on the east coast of the island, near the town of Santa Eulària des Riu, this camping area is popular with travelers in camper vans. It offers basic facilities such as toilets and showers and is a short distance from Es Canar Beach.

Camping La Playa

  • Cala Nova Camping Area:  It offers basic facilities such as toilets and showers and is a short distance from Cala Nova Beach.

Camping Cala Nova

  • Parco Ibiza : It offers basic facilities such as toilets and showers and is a short distance from San Antonio town.

And there are many other public parking areas where you can park, you can check the free Park4night app or similar. On the Par4Night platform you will also find individuals who offer their private land so you can stay :).

3. Be Aware of your Environment:

When parked in natural areas, respect the environment around you. Avoid damaging the vegetation, do not leave trash. Please do not throw away dirty water, we will take care of throwing it in the right place once your reservation is finished :)

4. Reduces Noise and Discomfort

Keep noise to a minimum, especially at night. Please respect other campers and local residents by not making excessive noise or disturbing people with loud music. Remember that you are sharing the space with others.

5. Minimize your Resource Consumption

Consume responsibly and try to minimize your use of resources such as water and electricity.

6. Comply with Traffic Regulations

Respect the traffic and parking rules in Ibiza. Also speed limits. Remember that any traffic fine during your stay will be the responsibility of the client.

7. Respect Local Culture

Familiarize yourself with the local culture and customs of Ibiza, and respect them during your trip.
